Troubleshooting

  • Sunshine / Moonlight conflict — Close Sunshine before running KRVR. Both use overlapping UDP ports (47998-48012). Sunshine must be fully stopped or KRVR won't connect.
  • First connection fails — Make sure KRVR is allowed through Windows Firewall. The installer sets rules automatically but some antivirus software can block it. Try disabling your firewall briefly to test.
  • Black screen after connecting — Make sure you launch the game after the session is connected (green status). Some games need OpenComposite to work with CloudXR.
